IT'S TRYING TO BE SPRING

I am not fond of winter, cold, short days, etc. Even less fond of those runs of gray days that we get. I would never survive in the Pacific Northwest where it's stunningly beautiful 20 days a year and overcast the other 345 days. I'd be depressed - even if I walked every day, I think.

Despite the gray days and the wind (which triggers my asthma), I've braved the elements most days to hit the pavement. My 4-legged walking companion certainly appreciates it.

This evening, I didn't get out - too much rain. But, I did 25 minutes on the stationary bike during Wheel of Fortune. Doesn't improve my game - but overall, as we've read, it will improve my brain power.

So, I'm definitely looking forward to leaving the mall walks behind for some time and getting outside more. My dance classes were even cancelled last week! That's just not fair! But, back on track this week despite the fact that I'm working full time this week.

So, if I can do it, so can YOU! Hope you do!
